Artisans in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana weave iconic baskets from thick, tough elephant grass. Weavers create this smaller version of our kettle basket with a pear-shaped bottom and a swing handle.
Bolga baskets are shipped flattened to shape your baskets simply spray the basket lightly with cool water, focusing on any creased areas. Allow the water to absorb into the fibres for a few minutes, then press the basket into shape. Air dry and you're all done!
